Chris, Jeanmarie and Mindy are pleased to return to Mispillion this year! Recital highlights will include Cuban Sketches by José Manuel Lezcano, a set of Greek folk songs, Chris’ Scottish-themed composition called The Hill Trow Prologues, and Make a Hawk a Dove, Stop a War with Love, which is a medley of TV themes celebrating several TV heroines of the 1960s and ‘70s.

Cultural Crossroads Program

This multi-faceted event will feature highly interactive performances of sea shanties and country dances (accompanied by Pegasus Trio), as well as fife and drum music by the 1st Delaware Regiment and presentations by the Chadds Ford Historical Society on 18th century chocolate making and Revolutionary War spycraft.

Chris looks forward to playing guitar this evening with Cornbread 5, an offshoot of the popular Philadelphia jazz group, Hoppin' John Orchestra.  This band specializes in the Dixieland style of jazz from the 1920s.

Mosaic String Duo with the Wilmington Community Orchestra

Chris and his Mosaic String Duo partner, Doug Seth, perform with the WCO in their orchestral arrangement of Mudéjar, one of the pieces from their Dead Reckoning CD.  Chris will also play guitar with the orchestra in a movement from Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's famous concerto.  The concert will also feature music by Bizet, Chabrier and Respighi.
